Ken focuses on partnering with seed, early and mid-stage start-ups in Japan. Ken is excited to share his extensive product development experience at Silicon Valley companies such as Salesforce, Cisco, and Adobe with companies in Japan. Ken is bilingual in English and Japanese and spent four years at Salesforce Japan building out the first product management team, while leading the product marketing and go-to-market teams for new product launches.
Prior to his experience in B2B SaaS building Sales Cloud, Ken worked in the consumer software and hardware space. Highlights include the Flip video cameras at Pure Digital, mobile device UI with Flash Lite, and the online digital photography service, Ofoto. At Adobe, Ken reported to an entrepreneur-in-residence, leading product and business development for internal startup projects that focused on some of Adobe's first web, cloud, and mobile initiatives. Products include Photoshop Express, Photoshop.com, and Premiere Express products. Ken is the founder and executive director of the Japan CPO Association, a not-for-profit with the goal of sharing global product development best practices with Japanese product leaders.
In his free time Ken enjoys experimenting with his sous-vide and scrolling through pop and contemporary art feeds, wishing he had more wall space.
