Chiamin Lai is an Investment VP in DCM's Tokyo office. She is responsible for analyzing investment opportunities, assisting on financings for new and existing portfolio companies and helping portfolio companies on M&A and strategic matters.

Prior to joining DCM, Chiamin was a manager at Monitor Group in Tokyo where she worked with a number of consumer goods and medical devices clients on strategic issues in the product launch, pricing, channel and growth strategy in China market. Prior to Monitor Group, Chiamin was a project manager at Lawson Software, a leading enterprise software company. At Lawson, Chiamin led a team of consultants for implementation and streamlining across seven European countries and contributed to operation improvements of several clients in the Food and Beverage, Manufacturing industry.

Chiamin was born in Taiwan and educated in Japan and Europe and is fluent in Chinese, Japanese and English.
